• Local Processing: Most tools (like Merge PDF, Compress PDF, and Image resizing) use WebAssembly to execute the logic directly in your browser. Your files are NOT uploaded to our servers.
• Secure Cloud Processing: For tools requiring complex server-side binaries (like high-fidelity OCR), files are uploaded over SSL/TLS encrypted tunnels.
• Immediate Deletion: Our cloud workers are "stateless." Once your task is finished, the files are purged from RAM and temporary storage within minutes.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not require account registration to use our services. As a result:

• We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
• We do not store the documents or images you upload.
• We do not track the contents of the text or data inside your files.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use minimal first-party cookies and privacy-respecting analytics (like Plausible or Fathom) to understand basic site traffic without identifying individual users. We do not use intrusive tracking pixels from social media networks.

5. Advertising

To keep our tools free, we display generic advertisements. Our ad partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads, but they never have access to the files you process on I Use PDF.
